Calculator report doesn't seem to be working

I cannot get the report to open when I email myself the calculator. I've tried generating it i IE, Chrome... I've emailed to my work and to my home. Is there an problem with the program???

I'm sorry to hear you're have difficulty! Which calculator are you using (we have several)? Can you describe your issue in a little more detail? It sounds like you are able to generate results within the browser but having difficulty sending the results to yourself.

Let me know so can review it and, if necessary, I can submit a bug report to have it fixed if there is an issue on our side.

I'm not able to reproduce any issues with The World's Simplest Calculator. Let me try to reproduce the steps to creating a report: You go here:

After clicking "create report," you get the following result:

From here you click "Download PDF Report" and it will download the PDF to your default file download location, or open it in your default PDF viewer depending on your system settings. From there you can move it and treat it like any other PDF file.

Let me know if I am missing a step, or if there is another stage at which you are experiencing the issue.

Yes, you are missing a step. The whole step that when I actually get the email I can't open the attachment. I tried it to my work. I've tried it to my home. I tried it using IE. I've tried it using chrome. Every time, in every way, when I get the email and the attachment, I cannot open the attachment.

I've tried to save it and open it. I've tried to forward the email to new address and system and open it. Nada.
I've used this program for years. Cannot use it now.

I am able to produce the report in multiple browsers without issue, attach it to emails, and open it in multiple PDF viewers including Adobe Acrobat and Sumatra. When you click "Download PDF Report," do you not get a file? Are you using the calculator I screenshotted above?

So I tried it again last night and it worked!! Although - totally differently.
When I was having issues with it, when I received the email, there was literally a .pdf attachment that could not be opened.
When I tried it again last night and this morning, when I received the email, there was no attachment - rather, within the email text was a clickable to download the report.
Go figure.
