Don't have syllabus for classes. Is that a potential issue?

I paid out of my 529 plan for bills occured from books. They were all bought at Amazon. I read somewhere online that I should have gotten the syllabus for the classes that showed those books were required. I don't know if that is true. But, if it is it is too late now, as these classes were from last year and all class info (syllabus) that was online isn't there anymore.

Can someone who knows about this comment on what's required docs for books?

It's not likely that the IRS will ask for proof that the books were required for enrollment or attendance, but a syllabus would be the easiest way to show that the expense was qualified. For future reference, it's a good habit to keep an electronic or paper copy of a syllabus that lists required books and supplies for the class if you are going to use 529 funds for the purchases.
