I have about $20k invested for my daughter in Franklin Income 529 Portfolio–Class A. She is attending a community college in California (where we live) for two years. Then she will switch to a state university. I am wondering if I should or even can move my money from the current 529 plan mentioned above to another 529 plan that might be better and less expensive. Also, I want to be conservative with the money in her plan since she will be needing it I the next year or two max.
