"If you for instance anticipate that all your three kids will go to Harvard you may easily incur $500000 debt. How are you going to pay it? Do you want your children to carry that huge debt? If you are a responsible parent and don’t want your children to start life with such debt"
Wow! See to me a responsible parent is one that teaches his/her children about good ROI (Return on Investment). If they are spending a half million dollars on education, they better be going into a field that requires and supports that education. If not, then I am not a responsible parent because I've taught my kids to throw away money.
It's not hard for a child to pay for college themselves. I did it, and so have many other people. And no, I won't be paying for all my kids college expenses, I feel that is unfair to my kids.
