My son has had the opportunity to study abroad this year. All costs for Tuition and Room were charged via his home US university, except food. The overseas school does not offer a meal plan. The students cook their own meals in the university lodge. I cannot find anywhere that the overseas school has a cost of attendence value for room and board. How do we determine what amount of food, if any can be refunded by my 529?
