I have a substantial 529 account for granddaughter. Utah only allows one account . Would like to grant a portion to my daughter as owner to minimize potential impact on aid. What about opening a new account in another state?Does that make any sense
I read a suggestion on this site that seems to recommend that one can rollover enough for one year's expensesto minimize effect on FAFSA. How would that be accomplished when provider does not allow 2 accounts for samebeneficiary?
